The OLED models and the 8K line provide excellent image and sound quality and achieve an incomparable visual experience
LG Electronics (LG) announced the launch of its stellar new 2020 TV lineup, led by 14 new OLED models including: the art-inspired GX Gallery series, true 8K ZX models, and 4K Ultra HD TVs. LG, the undisputed global leader in OLED TVs, is bringing the viewing and gaming experience starting this month to South Korea and the United States, with markets in Europe and other regions to follow.
Consumers will appreciate the sophisticated designs of LG's premium TVs and their ability to blend seamlessly into any space. OLED continues to offer the best viewing experience, self-emissive display technology capable of precisely controlling light at the pixel level for deeper blacks, more realistic colors and infinite contrast. The incredibly sleek form factors of the new TVs are just as impressive as the picture quality they offer.
As an example of LG's commitment to outstanding design, the three new GX Gallery Series models (55, 65 and 77 inches) offer a unique minimalist aesthetic, made possible by revolutionary OLED panel technology that does not require backlighting. This allows the TV to pack cutting-edge picture quality into an ultra-slim form factor – the 65-inch model just 20mm thick without the need for a separate control box. The TV mounts flush to the wall like a piece of art in a gallery.
Producing images of unprecedented detail and clarity, LG OLED ZX Real 8K models (88 OLED ZX and 77 OLED ZX models) offer four times the screen resolution of 4K and 16 times that of Full HD. To ensure a true 8K experience, LG TVs meet and exceed the industry definition for 8K Ultra HD TVs as defined by the Consumer Technology Association, making them one of the first 8K models qualified to use the CTA 8K Ultra HD logo.
LG is also launching all-new 4K OLED TVs (CX and BX models in 77, 65, and 55 inches). Consumers will also have a new size to choose from when the 48-inch CX OLED TV becomes available. NanoCell TV, LG's premium line of LCD TVs, welcomes seven Real 8K units (75-inch and 65-inch in Nano99, Nano97, Nano95 series, Nano95 55-inch), all with the CTA 8K UHD logo like their OLED counterparts.

The company's third-generation processor builds on the capabilities of its predecessors, leveraging additional processing power and advanced deep learning algorithms to further increase picture and sound quality on the new TVs. The α9 Gen 3 increases viewers' sense of immersion through several new features designed to enhance movies, sports, games and other types of content.
